Representations on Deposit Joint Local Development Plan - 1.3

Representation ID: 272

OBJECT Mrs Marian Jones

Summary:

Apparently, you have been consulting with the public. Nobody has contacted me nor any member of my family. Have you had contact with a vast percentage of the County's population? And had a cross-section in terms of age and personal circumstances?

I believe that the public have not been notified about the plan. Everyone should have the information in full, in a language which is easy to understand. Everyone should be individually interviewed and had an opportunity to voice their opinion. This would give a fairer picture of the local need for housing.

OBJECT Mrs Irene Stott

Summary:

The process is undemocratic and, as far as I can see, has been compiled by
the planners with no consideration for the population and has not been
considered and passed by the local councils - the peoples
representatives. Existing policies and planning guidance seem to have been
ignored. The Preferred Strategy Document was very generalised and had
insufficient detail for constructive comment. Submit the plan for council approval at full council meetings. Submit the plan for council approval at full council meetings
